Hello! I'm so glad you have joined us for the Color Fusers Blog Hop. Today we are using Emerald Envy, Cherry Cobbler, Tranquil Tide, and Whisper White.
For my card today, I've gone to my favorite stamp set in the Holiday catalog once again, That's the Painted Harvest stamp set. I'm using it to make a Christmas card.
The flowers for this card are stamped in Cherry Cobbler for both layers. The centers were stamped in Versamark, sprinkled with Gold Emboss Powder, and then melted with the Heat Tool.
Start with a card base of Thick Whisper White cut 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. The next layer is Tranquil Tide measuring 4 x 5 1/4, The last layer is from the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper cut to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. I used the white paper with just words. Stamp the flower in a random fashion over the patterned paper as stated above. Don't be afraid to let the flower run off the edge of the paper. Fill in with leaves. I did use small sticky notes to mask off the long stem. Stamp each leaf outline in Tranquil Tide. Stamp the more solid inside of the leaf with Emerald Envy.
Use the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut the largest oval in Whisper White. Adhere flat to the card front.
Stamp another flower on Whisper White as above. Fussy cut this. Stamp 3 leaves on the white in Tranquil Tide outline and Emerald Envy insides. Punch these out with the Leaf Punch. Adhere the flower and leaves with Mini Dimensionals.
Add a bow with the Crinkled Seam Binding in Emerald Envy.
The Merry is from the Merry Cafe stamp set.
The sentiment on the inside is from Merry Mistletoe stamped in Tranquil Tide. Add another flower with leaves.
I hope you will continue on this hop. Everyone is so creative. You will love every project.
