Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #486, Musical Seasons

Thursdays are just the best.  It's the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  We have a sketch today.

I'm using the stamp set Musical Seasons for the challenge.  I'm also using the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper.  It's lovely!

I think you could probably make multiples of this card fairly quickly.

Start with a card base of Thick Whisper White.  It measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored and folded at 4 1/4.  Use the Simply Scored or your Stampin' Trimmer to make the score line.  It folds much easier.

The Basic Black card stock measures 3 1/8 x 4 3/8.  The Merry Music paper is cut a 3 x 4 1/4.

The vertical strips of black Merry Music paper are cut at 1/2 x 4.

Stamp 3 of the plant sprigs on Whisper White card stock.  Use the Black Memento pad.  One of the sprigs will be used inside the card.  Color using the new Blends.  Use the light and dark Old Olive for the leaves and the Light Cherry Cobbler for the berries.  These sprigs are cut out using the Musical Instruments Framelits.

The sprigs are adhered with the Mini-Dimensionals.

Add a bow of Linen Thread.

The sentiment is from the Star of Light stamp set.  It's on a 1/2 inch wide strip of white that's 3 inches long.  Notch the ends with the Triple Banner Punch.

The inside of the card has a strip of the black Merry Music Specialty paper that measures 1/2 x 5 1/2.  Attach the sprig on top of this.  The sentiment is from the Musical Seasons stamp set.
