Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #478 Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #478.  This week we have a sketch.

CCMC478

As I started to work on this challenge I had my September Paper Pumpkin sitting on my table.  It was calling my name and telling me to do something with it.  This kit is fantastic!  Maybe it's just that I love the fall season.  Anyway, here is my card.

Here's a picture of what the kit looks like for September.

Previous-Kits-Sep2017

For my card, I started with a card base of Soft Suede measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.

The Cajun Craze layer measures 4 x 5 1/4.  The Whisper White layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

Stamp the large leaf in Soft Suede, stamped off, randomly on the white layer.

Cut a piece from the note card 3/4 x 4.  Sponge over the design in Soft Suede to highlight it a little.  Cut a piece from the envelope 1/2 x 4.  Add these banners with just a little of the envelope piece peeking out at the bottom.

Stamp the largest leaf punch out with Cajun Craze   Stamp one of the yellow leaves with the smaller leaf stamp in Soft Suede.  Add layers of the leaves, the tag and some of the twine from the kit.

Add the thank you sentiment from the set.  This might look a little better in Cajun Craze.  What do you think?

Here is the inside of the card, all from the kit.  This is one great stamp set!
