I love the Beautiful Bouquet bundle in our new annual catalog. Today I am showing you a CASE (copy and share everything) of a card that I shared with you earlier.
This card was part of a NC Demo blog hop featuring a stamp set we would miss from the old catalog. You can see my post here. I sent this card to one of my customers for her birthday. She asked if we could make it in class. I don't use retired product in my class, so I decided to CASE the sketch of the card. Here is the card we'll be making in an upcoming class.
In this card the squares were cut using the Stitched Shapes. The patterned paper is from the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. In class, we are going to use one piece of the Coffee Break paper It will make the card just a little more simple.
- The base is Thick Whisper White cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.
- 6 squares were cut as said above.
- The scalloped circle was cut from Always Artichoke using the Layering Circles Framelits. The other circle is Whisper White. The sentiment is from the Watercolor Words stamp set in Always Artichoke. Adhere the scalloped circle with dimensioinals.
- The flowers and leaves are cut in Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, and Always Artichoke. Use the Bouquet Bunch Framelits. The Wisteria Wonder flowers were stamped in the center with Elegant Eggplant using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. Place the wisteria flowers on the Stampin' Pierce Mat and press in the center with the blunt end of your Paper Piercing Tool. This will give them a little dimension. Place around the circles until you are pleased with the look and glue down.
Here's the inside of the card. The sentiment is from Watercolor Words. I also added more leaves and flowers.
I'm hoping that my customer, Donna, will like this card as much as she did my first card. I think it turned out nicely.
I hope you'll try this card. Thanks so much for stopping by. If you like my blog, would you please tell your friends about me? I'd love in increase my visits here.
