Easter Lamb Mini Coffee Cup
A Chick for Easter

What's Up Doc? Or a Hershey Bunny

I'm still working on Easter treats.  Today I want to share with you a Hershey bar bunny.  I think he's really cute!

Bunny Hershey bar 2

The basic cover for the Hershey bar is cut from Whisper White at 5 1/2 x 6.  It is scored on the 5 1/2 side at 1 3/4, 2, 4 1/4, and 4 1/2.  I use Tear & Tape down one side.  That way you can easily slide the candy bar from the wrapper without tearing it up.

The bunny ears were punched from the white using the XL Oval punch.  The inside of the ears were punched from retired paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack.  You could use the updated current paper stack just as well.  I love to sponge, so I sponged around both the outside and inside parts of the ear.  It just makes it pop from all of the other white.

The feet are also punched  in white using the XL Oval punch.  The pads for the bottom of the feet are punched out of Blushing Bride.  I used the circle punch from the old retired Itty Bitty Punch pack.  Now, I told you that I like to sponge, but a lady has to have a limit.  I sponged around the feet, but I did not sponge around each of the pads for the feet.  I think it still looks good.  If you looked at my blog post about the mini coffee cup bunny, you saw that I made the pads of the feet with a pencil eraser and Blushing Bride ink.  I think that would work here as well and be a lot easier.  I made the Hershey bunny first.

Bunny Hershey bar faceThe eyes were punched from Basic Black cardstock using the same circle punch from the retired Itty Bitty Punch Pack.  The added a little gleam to the eyes using the white gel pen.  The cheeks were punched in white using the 3/4 inch circle punch and of course sponged in Blushing Bride.  I added a few little dots with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.  The tongue is another circle just like the pads of the feet.  I did sponge it.  The nose is the heart punch from the current Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  It is attached with a dimensional.

I finished the bunny with a pretty bow using the Lost Lagoon Silky Taffeta Ribbon.  It is retired also, but the good news is that it is on the  Clearance Rack now for only $2.39.  It is such a pretty ribbon and ties so well.  You should stock up on it now.  You know Lost Lagoon will be retiring at the end of May.

I have one more Easter 3D item to share with you on Monday.  Hope to see you then, and thanks for visiting today.
