Paper Pumpkin Re-purposed

January's Paper Pumpkin had the supplies for a valentine banner or for treat holders.  I didn't need either of those, but I was in need of valentines to send to the shut-ins at church.  Using the inspiration from Patty Bennett's blog pattystamps.typepad .com, I decided to use the Paper Pumpkin to make my cards.

Paper Pumpkin cards

The card bases were in Watermelon Wonder cardstock or Mint Macaron cardstock.  I used the doted paper from the 2015-2017 In-color paper stack.  I like the dots with the stripes of the hearts that I used.  The sentiment "Be Mine" is from the Paper Pumpkin stamp set.  I stamped it in Watermelon Wonder on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out using the retired heart framelits. Did you see the pretty white doilies peaking out from around the heart?  They are the metallic foil doilies.  I simply turned them over on the back and used the white side.  The two hearts in either Watermelon Wonder or Mint Macaron are punched from the Sweetheart punch.  The heart with the words is from the In-color paper stack.  The other hearts are punched from the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper.  You probably can't tell, but there are shiny places right on the cardstock!  The bows are made from the twine included with the Paper Pumpkin kit.  The small white hearts are punched from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.

I just love how the cards turned out!  Now, my valentines are ready to be addressed and dropped in the mail.

Did you know that 3 month Paper Pumpkin subscriptions are on sale?  Well, they are until March 31st.  You can get 3 months of Paper Pumpkin for $55. But, that's not all.  This would also qualify you for a free Sale-a-Bration item. Let me know if you would love to be included in the fun.  There's always great things to be done with Paper Pumpkin!
