Excitement! If you love Stampin' Up!, it's hard to contain the excitement! Tomorrow is the big day! Our new 2016 Occasions catalog and the Sale-a-Bration brochure go live tomorrow. On Saturday, I had an Open House to celebrate these new catalogs. Those who attended will have their orders for new "stuff" sent in very early tomorrow and have their new items on their way to good old North Carolina. Let me share with you the project that we made on Saturday. It features the Timeless Textures stamp set from the Occasions catalog and the Flowering Fields stamp set and the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.
This is a note card holder with 4 note cards. I got the directions for the note card holder from my upline Patty Bennett using this post http://www.pattystamps.com/pattys_stamping_spot/2015/11/12x12-no-cut-note-card-holder.html. She got the directions from Di Barnes from Australia. Patty even has a video on her post and a link to the directions. The note card holder is made from one sheet of 12 X 12 designer paper. I used the 3 1/2 X 5 notecards and envelopes in Whisper White found on page 149 of the annual catalog.
Here are two of the notecards.
And here are the other two note cards. Each has a background stamped using the new Timeless Textures stamp set from the Occasions catalog. Each note card features the Wildflower Fields paper and the stamp set Flowering Fields. The patterned paper measures 2 X 4 and is placed on a Basic Black cardstock base measuring 2 1/8 X 4 1/8. The size of the Whisper White cardstock and black cardstock for the flower is determined by the size of the flower stamp. The sentiments come from several different sets. The thanks comes from One Big Meaning set in the annual catalog. The birthday comes from the Rose Wonder stamp set in the Occasions catalog. The friend sentiment is from the Sale-a-Bration set Hello. The note saying is from Picture Perfect, a set in the Occasions catalog. The colors used are Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Blackberry Blis,s Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, and the new Archival Black.
I think my customers loved the project they made.
